Color Suggestions for Accounting Office

Posted 09-30-2010 8:54 AM by Bill C. 1 replies.

I will be painting an accounting office and we are removing wallpaper and will apply a new color scheme from the current 1990's taupe.

The office has normal common areas such as reception and hallways as well as individual offices.  They have drop ceilings and hardwood floors, oak.  All rooms have chair rail.  We are looking for a 4 color scheme.  The trim color will be some version of off white.  The upper walls will all be the same throughout the entire office and will be a neutral color.  We will use two accent colors below the chair rail.  The individual offices will have a more reserved color and the common areas will have a bolder color.  We are looking for conservative colors that will not become dated and that will look professional in this CPA office.

The chairs in the offices are a burgandy leather.  The exterior of the office building is brick colonial.

Do you have CertaPro Painters doing the painting work? If yes, great! Send me some photos of the space, the exterior, and the office furniture so I can understand the project. I'd need to see the flooring (carpet, hardwood, cement?), windows, walls, everything that would influence the wall colors. Colors can look completely different in each space (depending on region, amount of natural light, type of artificial lighting just to name a few!).

If you're not using CertaPro Painters, this Forum really is for home owners looking for a little advice, and preferable those hiring CertaPro Painters for their service.
