brick red multi peak ranch house

I received your suggestions for a paint color.  The 2 suggestions were both a
shade of gray.  I had said in my email that the house across the street from us
was gray, and the house right next to us is gray.  Can you please make another suggestion other than grey?

I am anxious to get started on the painting, but would like your recommendations before I begin.  I am behind on my target, because it took days for me to find out that  my response to your email never got to you.

     Hi Karen,

I must have missed a couple of things. First, I didn't see any mention of other homes being gray- perhaps some of the posts are mixed up with others? And second, the two color schemes are anything but gray. If you're deciding based on the names alone or viewing them on the computer, you aren't get a true sense of these colors. The Homburg Gray color is actually quite blue with even perhaps even a hint of green. It's very dark and rich. The wool skein color is much more a creamy tan then gray.

Take another fresh look. I chose the colors based on what would work best for your house style and elements such as the brick. The change from red to a completely different look can be a bit unnerving, but the results will be beautiful. Test these choices first with large sample brush outs on several walls. This wil really help you see how your home will be transformed.

If you're still unhappy with the colors, let me know more specifically what you're looking to create (something dark, light, neutral, bright, modern, classic, etc.) and we'll try again. Believe me, I understand feeling anxious and wanting this to move quickly. But rushing and stressing over the project will make the process longer and harder. Take a deep breathe. I know this is stressful. But you can do this. Step back, take a look at the color chips, get sample quarts, and go from there.
